Vista Academy, a division of Vista Clinic, offers this interactive online CPD course designed for the development of pastoral skills within the ministry presented by experts. The purpose is to provide mental health support to those working in the ministry as well as guidance and training in supporting their congregation with everyday aspects of life that affect our mental health.

Audience

This online course is only accredited by the CPSC. Psychologists, psychometrists, social workers, registered counsellors are able to enrol for the course although no CPD points will be granted to professionals who are not registered with the CPSC.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the training you attend is within your scope of practice and that you are registered with the correct regulatory body in order to receive CPD points.

Registration

Bookings are done online via Payfast. Once you have added the course to your cart, proceed to checkout and complete your payment. You will then register your details which creates your profile on our online learning platform, Moodle (if you already registered your details will be loaded). Once payment is complete, you will receive an invoice and automatically be enrolled in the course on your Moodle account.

Your Moodle account stores all CPD events which you enrol for with Vista Academy, giving you lifetime access to the online videos, short quiz, presentation notes, evaluation forms, certificates and any other relevant information pertaining to the course.

Certificates

You can automatically download your certificate within the course on your Moodle profile once you meet the requirements of the online CPD. This includes watching the online videos and achieving 70% or more for the 15 multiple choice quiz within three attempts.

It is important to make sure your registration number with your specific regulatory body, or your ID number, is listed on your profile as this reflects on your certificate.
