Historically, health & safety at work has focused entirely on addressing and minimising risk of physical harm and injury to employees through policies and procedures, PPE and training of First Aid Representatives within organisations. In 2021, the first standard for psychological health & safety was released in the form of ISO45003, a guideline document for managing psychosocial risks at work. This presentation explains the rationale, contents and implementation of these guidelines. |
NB: The attainment of CEUs or CPD points does not license any professional to practise outside of their scope or competency. CPD training is intended to broaden the knowledge of professionals and does not constitute professional training. The responsibility to practise within their relevant scope remains with the professional, regardless of what CPD training they attend. |
