This seminar will examine the theory and methodology of the relational approach, namely imago couples therapy, its key terms, believes and structure. It will also concentrate on how this method might assist clinicians in treating patients’ psychological issues because people exist in relations to others and specifically within their romantic relationships. Furthermore, it will look at recent studies in the South African context.
