The webinar on the Application of DBT in the Treatment of Addiction Disorders will cover an overview of DBT’s foundational concepts and its specific application to addiction treatment. The DBT three states of mind are applied as an addiction continuum of thinking, and the application of DBT core acceptance and change skills are considered within the DBT model of relapse prevention.  The evidence for the efficacy and benefits of DBT in the treatment of addiction is presented, as well as its complementarity to other addiction treatment models.
