Working with couples can feel like being in a crucible. This interactive workshop draws upon a close examination of three vivid case examples of interlocking personality dynamics. The workshop analyses couple dialogue and patterns
within each couple crucible: Utilising interplaying personality dynamics in couple therapy.
This will include personality traits and disorders, (narcissistic, borderline, histrionic, avoidant/schizoid), how your personality and role positioning as a therapist impacts their couple system or the individuals that constitute the couple system, and unpacking clinical interventions and therapeutic and ethical stances.
NB: The attainment of CEUs or CPD points does not license any professional to practise outside of their scope or competency. CPD training is intended to broaden the knowledge of professionals and does not constitute professional training.
